22.12.2014 : GOVERNMENT DECIDES TO PAY 8.75% INTEREST ON PF FOR 2014-15:
Over five crore subscribers of the EPFO will get 8.75 per cent interest this fiscal on their provident fund deposits - the same rate as the previous year. "Finance Ministry has ratified the decision of the EPFO's Central Board of Trustees (CBT) to retain 8.75 per cent rate of interest for the current fiscal," said a source. The rate was same in the previous year, 2013-14, when it was raised from 8.5 per cent in the 2012-13 fiscal.(PTI)

The trainings are proposed at RTTC/Hyd from 29-12-2014 to 03-01-2015 and 19-01-2015 to 24-01-2015.

BSNL, MTNL losses at Rs 3,785 crore & Rs 1,567 crore: Government Click here for the details
State-owned telecom firms BSNL and MTNL have incurred losses of Rs 3,785 crore and Rs 1,567 crore till September in the current financial year and steps are being taken to revive them, government said today.
The losses are on account of decline in revenue and increase in expenditure, Minister of Communications and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad said in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
At present, there is no proposal for disinvestment in MTNL and BSNL though the government is in the process of revival of the two firms through various short term, medium term and long term measures, he added.
"The long-term measures, including merger of BSNL and MTNL, would attempt to position these PSUs to emerge as market leaders in the converged telecommunication market.

27.11.2014 : FORUM OF ASSOCIATION AND UNIONS IN BSNL IGNITE FOR INDEFINITE STRIKE WITH 20 POINTS ISSUES-
NO PLACE FOR DR ISSUES
Forum of Association and Unions have served notice for organizational actions starts from 11 Dec-14 with indefinite strike from 3rd Feb-15. They have included 78.2% IDA merger benefits for pensioners and pension revision apart from various development issues. This association is not against strike and demands but direct recruits executives as well as non-executives must think about this biased concern for not including 30% superannuation benefits to direct recruits. All absorbed executives are getting handsome pension yet they are concern about their pension revision but what about direct recruits who’s retirement benefits are on stake.
Just think, 2001 batch have completed 13 years of service in BSNL and they have hardly accumulated Rs. 14 lakhs in their EPF account wherein 50% i.e. Rs 7 lakhs are contributed from their own salary. If someone retires today after completing 13 years of service he will get only Rs. 7 lakhs benefits for his retirement which is even less than one month salary. If BSNL will not implement 30% superannuation benefits as ordered by DPE then at the end of retirement (total 30-35 years service) DR will get retirement money from BSNL which is equivalent to 2.5 years salary at that time that too if they have not withdrawn single penny from their EPF account for emergency requirement.
Some associations of absorbed executives are luring directs recruits in open platform stating they are very much concern about their pension, pay scale and promotion issues and they are committed to resolve these issues but when time comes these issues do not get position even long list of demands. AIGETOA doesn’t have any complain to these associations and unions as they are not meant for direct recruits but it is really painful that some our own direct recruits are joining these associations and making AIGETOA weak. It is also beyond our understanding that SNATTA who is representing direct recruits non-executives has become part of this organizational action and not insisted for inclusion of 30% superannuation benefits for direct recruits.
Friends, we direct recruits executives and non-executives are sufficient to resolve such justified issues, the need is to be aware of such issues and to get unite. Unfortunately this is not happening. Think once again and keep fighting for our entitlements who knows one day all DR will get unite and things will get settled.
27.11.2014 : GS WRITES CMD BSNL TO CONSIDER FOLLOWING SUBMISSION IN VIEW OF LDCE FOR SDE (T) TO BE HELD ON 15TH FEB 2015.
GS writes CMD BSNL to consider following submission in view of LDCE for SDE (T) to be held on 15th Feb 2015.
1.Extending eligibility to the candidates recruited in same batch.
2.Reducing the minimum passing marks to 45% instead of 50% as recommended by the committee.
3.Issuing detail syllabus and distribution of marks for each topic.

15.11.2014 : WHAT AIGETOA HAS DONE?
Dear Direct Recruits Executives of BSNL,
All of you are well aware of the mission and vision of your association i.e. AIGETOA. Still it is felt that there are some questions in the mind of general members.The foremost question amongst them is that “what are the achievements for direct recruits so far through this platform”? This question was doing the rounds in my mind also for quite some time. Let us try to find the answer for the same.
This association was formed in Nov-2005 with some visionary directs recruits amongst us with the vision and mission to represent the issues of direct recruits as our service conditions were very different from majority of the executives in various aspects. Whether and to what extent have we been successful? Just go through the facts mentioned herein and you will find your own answers.
1. First achievement of AIGETOA was the stipend arrear of about Rs 14000 against revised IDA pay scale which all the 2001 and 2002 batch colleagues were paid. This was very meager amount as far as the volume is concerned but other association were not even aware about this issue due to lack of concern as their basic members were not benefitted out of it.
2. Second achievement was the EPF contribution on full Basic+DA and resolution of various EPF anomalies for all direct recruits. Despite of clear order, most of the field units had restricted the EPF contribution on Rs 6500/- and that too with several anomalies. This issue had been raised by some individual direct recruits on the platform of other associations but was remain unaddressed. AIGETOA gave a platform to raise this issue collectively and finally most of the issues have been resolved. Most of the anomalies in maintaining EPF account are also resolved. This is the greatest achievement of this association else our social and future security was in danger. We are very much sure that we shall be able to resolve the remaining anomalies also with your support.
3. Third achievement was 30% fitment to 2005 batch colleague. We do agree that there had been several efforts from other fronts also but initiation and raising the issue up to the level from where issue gets resolved was only possible due to existence of this association. If you go through the documents pertaining to the resolution of these issues, you will get the answer that AIGETOA was the root cause of getting this issue resolved.
4. Retention of unjustified transfer in LDCE-2007 and conduction of LDCE-2014, bonus marks against wrong answers, declaration of result, overnight posting and retention of most of the candidates against unjustified transfer was only possible due to the existence of AIGETOA.
5. About 1600 LDCE vacancies were diverted from LDCE quota to seniority quota which was restored only because of AIGETOA.
6. Stopping of external MT till date and appearing in DGM exam to show our talent was only possible due to existence of this association. If external MT would have come, we would have lost our status of direct recruit executives.
7. Management had made all the preparations for reverting some of our colleagues who got promoted citing court cases and judgments but it was the efforts of AIGETOA only which prevented management from doing this. There are various other achievement of AIGETOA which cannot be ignored like, execution of Rule-8 transfer, E1+5 as an interim benefits etc.
8. 30% superannuation benefit, Pay parity, E2/E3 pay scale for JTO/SDE equivalent, CPSE cadre hierarchy, uniform time bound upgradation in four years etc. are some of the issue which we could not be achieved so far but these issues have already been raised by this association up to an extent from where achievement is the only destination. We do agree that resolution of these issues have taken time beyond our expectation but Come what way nobody can stop us before reaching to destination of resolution. We are fully committed to resolve these issues and we will leave no stone unturned for the same.
9. The biggest achievement of AIGETOA is that it made us aware of our dues, our rights, our facilities. It was the deep study by our group which apprised each and every member about the injustices that are being met out to the Direct Recruits. It is the achievement of AIGETOA to prevent the management and other groups from making the direct recruits as sacrificial lambs. It is the achievement of AIGETOA that nobody dares to touch us. It is the achievement of AIGETOA that policies are being framed keeping DRs in mind. It is the achievement of AIGETOA that even other associations considers us as their most important assets.
10. Last but not least, AIGETOA has given you the platform where we all qualified executives unite together and serve the nation maintaining self dignity and pride.
11. Child care leave implemented in BSNL only due to greater efforts of AIGETOA.
Some individual and other associations may propagate about their role in achieving the aforementioned resolutions. Some even go the extent of claiming that they got the issue resolved over telephone and we don’t have any problems also when people are ready to buy this agreement. We do appreciate their role and support also but just think without the existence of AIGETOA was it possible? Absolutely not ! Many efforts might have worked in getting resolution of the above mentioned issues but center of all the efforts is AIGETOA. AIGETOA doesn’t believe in highlighting the efforts as individual but the fact is that whatever happens and issues are resolved because of the collective efforts of all of us, because of support of members from ground level. If our leaders are recognized, it’s because of your support otherwise the leaders are also JTOs, SDEs etc. This is the platform where some dedicated and committed members study issues, collect the data, share among each other and finally get all the justification so that efforts starts working. This is our misfortune that we are working in company where only we belong to a different category of executives and our benefits are different from other executives belonging to management cadre else most of the issues would have never created. Resolution of some of the foremost issues get delayed despite of having all the genuineness and justification, the reason behind it, is only and only that we are not consistent and have never acted all together.
Dear direct recruit colleagues, you just decide how long we shall fight individually, in small groups, event and issue selected participation etc. when our vision and mission are same. Let us come together all at a time and give strength to your own association so that ice can be broken. It is justified to show your anger to any individual leaders of AIGETOA but it is highly unjustified to show anger with your own association. Remove the leaders who are using this association to satisfy their vested interest and personal aspiration but don’t finish this platform which is meant for your welfare.
This association while maintaining its identity, has decided to jointly fight for the issues of executives. Let us come together and show the power of unity so that we can be identified as king makers. Some of our issues are different than basic membership of AIBSNLEA but they are not contradictory, hence we have come together. If AIBSNLEA wins the forthcoming referendum process and became the largest executives association in BSNL, it will certainly give additional strength to AIGETOA.
THE BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT : DRs' CREATED SINGLE PLATFORM FOR DR COMMUNITY TO REPRESENT OUR GRIEVANCES AT ALL LEVELS OF MANAGEMENT...
All are requested to pray GOD to settle all the issues .. if not we have to pressurise the management until our issues get RESOLVE...

14.11.2014 : NOTIFICATION FOR LDCE FROM JTO(T) TO SDE(T) FOR 33% QUOTA ISSUED.
BSNL HQ issued notification to hold Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 2014 for JTO to SDE(T) Promotion under 33% quota. AIGETOA was continuously pursuing the matter with BSNL Management to hold the much awaited LDCE for SDE(T).After hard effort by our CHQ leaders, the vacancy upto 2013-14 has been added to extend the advantage to JTOs of upto 2008 batch. It's a best chance for BSNL Recruited JTOs to get promoted to the cadre of SDE(T) under LDCE as seniority quota (DPC) promotion to SDE(T) is very bleak for DR JTOs due to biased approached of the management as well as sister association for not preparing the All India JTO seniority list in 1:1 (between Departmental JTO & Direct Recruit JTO) fashion as per JTO RR.

BSNL, MTNL losses at Rs 3,785 crore & Rs 1,567 crore: Government Click here for the details
State-owned telecom firms BSNL and MTNL have incurred losses of Rs 3,785 crore and Rs 1,567 crore till September in the current financial year and steps are being taken to revive them, government said today.
The losses are on account of decline in revenue and increase in expenditure, Minister of Communications and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad said in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
At present, there is no proposal for disinvestment in MTNL and BSNL though the government is in the process of revival of the two firms through various short term, medium term and long term measures, he added.
"The long-term measures, including merger of BSNL and MTNL, would attempt to position these PSUs to emerge as market leaders in the converged telecommunication market.

27.11.2014 : FORUM OF ASSOCIATION AND UNIONS IN BSNL IGNITE FOR INDEFINITE STRIKE WITH 20 POINTS ISSUES-
NO PLACE FOR DR ISSUES
Forum of Association and Unions have served notice for organizational actions starts from 11 Dec-14 with indefinite strike from 3rd Feb-15. They have included 78.2% IDA merger benefits for pensioners and pension revision apart from various development issues. This association is not against strike and demands but direct recruits executives as well as non-executives must think about this biased concern for not including 30% superannuation benefits to direct recruits. All absorbed executives are getting handsome pension yet they are concern about their pension revision but what about direct recruits who’s retirement benefits are on stake.
Just think, 2001 batch have completed 13 years of service in BSNL and they have hardly accumulated Rs. 14 lakhs in their EPF account wherein 50% i.e. Rs 7 lakhs are contributed from their own salary. If someone retires today after completing 13 years of service he will get only Rs. 7 lakhs benefits for his retirement which is even less than one month salary. If BSNL will not implement 30% superannuation benefits as ordered by DPE then at the end of retirement (total 30-35 years service) DR will get retirement money from BSNL which is equivalent to 2.5 years salary at that time that too if they have not withdrawn single penny from their EPF account for emergency requirement.
Some associations of absorbed executives are luring directs recruits in open platform stating they are very much concern about their pension, pay scale and promotion issues and they are committed to resolve these issues but when time comes these issues do not get position even long list of demands. AIGETOA doesn’t have any complain to these associations and unions as they are not meant for direct recruits but it is really painful that some our own direct recruits are joining these associations and making AIGETOA weak. It is also beyond our understanding that SNATTA who is representing direct recruits non-executives has become part of this organizational action and not insisted for inclusion of 30% superannuation benefits for direct recruits.
Friends, we direct recruits executives and non-executives are sufficient to resolve such justified issues, the need is to be aware of such issues and to get unite. Unfortunately this is not happening. Think once again and keep fighting for our entitlements who knows one day all DR will get unite and things will get settled.
27.11.2014 : GS WRITES CMD BSNL TO CONSIDER FOLLOWING SUBMISSION IN VIEW OF LDCE FOR SDE (T) TO BE HELD ON 15TH FEB 2015.
GS writes CMD BSNL to consider following submission in view of LDCE for SDE (T) to be held on 15th Feb 2015.
1.Extending eligibility to the candidates recruited in same batch.
2.Reducing the minimum passing marks to 45% instead of 50% as recommended by the committee.
3.Issuing detail syllabus and distribution of marks for each topic.

15.11.2014 : WHAT AIGETOA HAS DONE?
Dear Direct Recruits Executives of BSNL,
All of you are well aware of the mission and vision of your association i.e. AIGETOA. Still it is felt that there are some questions in the mind of general members.The foremost question amongst them is that “what are the achievements for direct recruits so far through this platform”? This question was doing the rounds in my mind also for quite some time. Let us try to find the answer for the same.
This association was formed in Nov-2005 with some visionary directs recruits amongst us with the vision and mission to represent the issues of direct recruits as our service conditions were very different from majority of the executives in various aspects. Whether and to what extent have we been successful? Just go through the facts mentioned herein and you will find your own answers.
1. First achievement of AIGETOA was the stipend arrear of about Rs 14000 against revised IDA pay scale which all the 2001 and 2002 batch colleagues were paid. This was very meager amount as far as the volume is concerned but other association were not even aware about this issue due to lack of concern as their basic members were not benefitted out of it.
2. Second achievement was the EPF contribution on full Basic+DA and resolution of various EPF anomalies for all direct recruits. Despite of clear order, most of the field units had restricted the EPF contribution on Rs 6500/- and that too with several anomalies. This issue had been raised by some individual direct recruits on the platform of other associations but was remain unaddressed. AIGETOA gave a platform to raise this issue collectively and finally most of the issues have been resolved. Most of the anomalies in maintaining EPF account are also resolved. This is the greatest achievement of this association else our social and future security was in danger. We are very much sure that we shall be able to resolve the remaining anomalies also with your support.
3. Third achievement was 30% fitment to 2005 batch colleague. We do agree that there had been several efforts from other fronts also but initiation and raising the issue up to the level from where issue gets resolved was only possible due to existence of this association. If you go through the documents pertaining to the resolution of these issues, you will get the answer that AIGETOA was the root cause of getting this issue resolved.
4. Retention of unjustified transfer in LDCE-2007 and conduction of LDCE-2014, bonus marks against wrong answers, declaration of result, overnight posting and retention of most of the candidates against unjustified transfer was only possible due to the existence of AIGETOA.
5. About 1600 LDCE vacancies were diverted from LDCE quota to seniority quota which was restored only because of AIGETOA.
6. Stopping of external MT till date and appearing in DGM exam to show our talent was only possible due to existence of this association. If external MT would have come, we would have lost our status of direct recruit executives.
7. Management had made all the preparations for reverting some of our colleagues who got promoted citing court cases and judgments but it was the efforts of AIGETOA only which prevented management from doing this. There are various other achievement of AIGETOA which cannot be ignored like, execution of Rule-8 transfer, E1+5 as an interim benefits etc.
8. 30% superannuation benefit, Pay parity, E2/E3 pay scale for JTO/SDE equivalent, CPSE cadre hierarchy, uniform time bound upgradation in four years etc. are some of the issue which we could not be achieved so far but these issues have already been raised by this association up to an extent from where achievement is the only destination. We do agree that resolution of these issues have taken time beyond our expectation but Come what way nobody can stop us before reaching to destination of resolution. We are fully committed to resolve these issues and we will leave no stone unturned for the same.
9. The biggest achievement of AIGETOA is that it made us aware of our dues, our rights, our facilities. It was the deep study by our group which apprised each and every member about the injustices that are being met out to the Direct Recruits. It is the achievement of AIGETOA to prevent the management and other groups from making the direct recruits as sacrificial lambs. It is the achievement of AIGETOA that nobody dares to touch us. It is the achievement of AIGETOA that policies are being framed keeping DRs in mind. It is the achievement of AIGETOA that even other associations considers us as their most important assets.
10. Last but not least, AIGETOA has given you the platform where we all qualified executives unite together and serve the nation maintaining self dignity and pride.
11. Child care leave implemented in BSNL only due to greater efforts of AIGETOA.
Some individual and other associations may propagate about their role in achieving the aforementioned resolutions. Some even go the extent of claiming that they got the issue resolved over telephone and we don’t have any problems also when people are ready to buy this agreement. We do appreciate their role and support also but just think without the existence of AIGETOA was it possible? Absolutely not ! Many efforts might have worked in getting resolution of the above mentioned issues but center of all the efforts is AIGETOA. AIGETOA doesn’t believe in highlighting the efforts as individual but the fact is that whatever happens and issues are resolved because of the collective efforts of all of us, because of support of members from ground level. If our leaders are recognized, it’s because of your support otherwise the leaders are also JTOs, SDEs etc. This is the platform where some dedicated and committed members study issues, collect the data, share among each other and finally get all the justification so that efforts starts working. This is our misfortune that we are working in company where only we belong to a different category of executives and our benefits are different from other executives belonging to management cadre else most of the issues would have never created. Resolution of some of the foremost issues get delayed despite of having all the genuineness and justification, the reason behind it, is only and only that we are not consistent and have never acted all together.
Dear direct recruit colleagues, you just decide how long we shall fight individually, in small groups, event and issue selected participation etc. when our vision and mission are same. Let us come together all at a time and give strength to your own association so that ice can be broken. It is justified to show your anger to any individual leaders of AIGETOA but it is highly unjustified to show anger with your own association. Remove the leaders who are using this association to satisfy their vested interest and personal aspiration but don’t finish this platform which is meant for your welfare.
This association while maintaining its identity, has decided to jointly fight for the issues of executives. Let us come together and show the power of unity so that we can be identified as king makers. Some of our issues are different than basic membership of AIBSNLEA but they are not contradictory, hence we have come together. If AIBSNLEA wins the forthcoming referendum process and became the largest executives association in BSNL, it will certainly give additional strength to AIGETOA.
THE BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT : DRs' CREATED SINGLE PLATFORM FOR DR COMMUNITY TO REPRESENT OUR GRIEVANCES AT ALL LEVELS OF MANAGEMENT...

BSNL HQ issued notification to hold Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 2014 for JTO to SDE(T) Promotion under 33% quota. AIGETOA was continuously pursuing the matter with BSNL Management to hold the much awaited LDCE for SDE(T).After hard effort by our CHQ leaders, the vacancy upto 2013-14 has been added to extend the advantage to JTOs of upto 2008 batch. It's a best chance for BSNL Recruited JTOs to get promoted to the cadre of SDE(T) under LDCE as seniority quota (DPC) promotion to SDE(T) is very bleak for DR JTOs due to biased approached of the management as well as sister association for not preparing the All India JTO seniority list in 1:1 (between Departmental JTO & Direct Recruit JTO) fashion as per JTO RR.

Subject : STAND OF AIGETOA ON AGITATION NOTICE BY SNEA (I)
In Joint Meeting of AIGETOA and AIBSNLEA on 22nd Aug-14 at Hyderabad, it was decided to submit joint cautionary letter to management on various pending HR issues and then launch Joint agitation if need arise. But unfortunately getting this message, SNEA (I) has declared it’s agitation program alone. It indubitable that during the referendum process management cannot take decision under agitation pressure of any stand-alone association participating in referendum process. In fact management was in the process to take decision on Standard Pay Scale, 30% Superannuation, Time Bound Functional Promotion & Uniform Period of 4 years for First Time Bound Promotion etc. this decision will be held up due to this agitation notice as management cannot take risk to give credit to any single association.
What forced SNEA (I) to serve agitation notice alone during the process of referendum is very much clear. This association doesn’t see their commitment to resolve the very basic issues in respect of direct recruits but their agitation is simply to withhold the resolution.
AIGETOA has already held long agitation of about 50 days during last one year on these issues, results of which is very much visible that every association including BSNL top management have recognized the legitimacy of our issues. Despite of the fact that SNEA (I) has served this agitation notice to sabotage the resolution of the issues, AIGETOA will extend full physical support if they really show their commitment towards resolution of the issues and they serve notice for stronger agitation then AIGETOA has already held. We are also confident that AIBSNLEA will come together along with AIGETOA to support this strong agitation program.

LEVEL MEETING AT AM CHARMINAR AREA
UNDER GM(SOUTH) AREA.
Area level meeting was conducted in AM Charminar Area under GM(south). The meeting is chaired by Sri M.Mohan DS HTD, Sri M.Madhava Rao DP HTD and Sri P.Ramu CFS A.P.
Sri M.Madhava rao DP HTD addressed the members about the ups downs of the association and strikes which have made previously for the LDCE transfers and our carrier progression.
Sri M.Mohan DS HTD addressed the members about strengthening of our association in present situation,Annual general body meet of CHQ on 22nd & 23rd of this month in HTD, the upcoming membership verification and reason for tie-up with AIBSNLEA i.e the future of all cadres of direct recruities .He is also stressed about requisition for formation of co-ordination committee between the two associations.
Sri P.Ramu CFS A.P. addressed the members &explained about the procedure of membership verification and stressed about the submission of online membership form and also submission of hard copies of membership form along with 2 passport size photos on or before 5th August-14

Receiving overwhelming response and request from various part of the country, it has been decided to increase the deadline up to 5th Aug 2014 for filling hard copy and online membership form without membership fee. Left out members shall submit the same with only subscription of Rs 800/- but only till 5th Aug 2014 as we have to submit the same to the Registrar of Society before 9th Aug 2014. In no case this deadline will be changed.
It is also learnt that, some of our representatives where salary is deducted through ECS/Salary are filling the online form on behalf of members just to help them. It is to request them to please don’t adopt such practice as our basic motto is not only collection of money but also want to involve every individual in the process and attract their commitment along with subscription hence request members to fill the form by their own and spare some time on daily basis to go through the every update of websites of all the association and unions of BSNL.

23.07.2014 : DS ALONG WITH CS ,AIVP, DP&DFS ATTENDED THE AIBSNLEA, AP CIRCLE CEC MEETING, HYDERABAD.
DS Sri M.Mohan along with our beloved CS Sri G.Veerabhdra Rao,Our dynamic AIVP Sri B.Laxman , our President Sri M.Madhava rao and our Finance secratary Sri.Sridhar has attended the CEC meeting of AIBSLEA in Hyderabad.
Sri Laxman, CHQ Vide-President, AIGETOA CHQ addressed the meeting and expressed his happiness for having a tie-up with AIBSNLEA which will support the cadre interests and their career progression. He narrated the legitimate demands of BSNL recruited executives such as standard pay scales, 30% superannuation benefits, fast track promotions, etc. He also explained how the other Association betrayed them. He wishes that the alliance of AIBSNLEA & AIGETOA to continue for long and differences, if any, be sorted out mutual consultation.
Sri G. Veerabhadra Rao, CS, AIGETOA, A.P. Circle addressed the meeting and expressed his delight to have alliance with well experienced and seasoned leadership of ABSNLEA which will certainly safeguard the interests of all the Executives in BSNL. He also requested the house to focus on the coming verification of membership.

After that they elaborately discussed about the JTO request transfer cases. who completed 4 years service in respective posted places. Requested them to consider all the request transfers cases. Submitted our broad views for consideration of JTO trainee postings & submitted request transfer cases. Meeting outcome is positive. We are thanking the Administration.

According to calculations based on All India Consumer Price Index for March, April and May 2014, IDA is to increase by 2.9% w.e.f. 1.7.2014 from 88.4% to 91.3%
